Trendy fashion is a lot of fun. Without trendy fashion, we’d all be wearing the same things from one season to the next. It would certainly save us a lot of money, but it would make fashion, and even life in general, pretty boring. So trends are a good thing, but that’s not the whole story: sometimes fashion trends come along that are inexplicably awful. For some reason they catch on, and before you know it everyone is leaping on board with a new trend that just looks utterly hideous. Please, be one of the people who stands up to these trends and just says no. To help, we present here four trendy fashion trends that everyone should avoid:
#1 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Ugg boots, particularly in public and with shorts
As far as we’re concerned, ugg boots have one purpose and one purpose alone: to keep your feet really warm by encasing them in wool. They’re not a fashion item and they should never be treated as such. For some inexplicable reason, however, ugg boots have gained popularity in some circles as something you might wear outside on a warm day. We appreciate that trendy fashion isn’t always logical, but this is going too far: pairing skimpy shorts with ultra warm foot wear just doesn’t make any sense. Are you cold or are you hot? Make up your mind, and then dress appropriately.
#2 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Crocs when you’re not on a boat
Ah, Crocs. Exactly how Crocs became popular is one of life’s great unsolved mysteries. For sure, they have their uses. A pair of Crocs would be ideal on a boot, say, or when engaged in river activities like fishing or rafting. We even heard about a plan to provide them to needy people in Africa as durable footwear, which also sounds like a good idea. But wearing them out to brunch on a Sunday morning? It’s awful. The bottom line is, they’re really ugly, and will never be trendy fashion.
#3 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Metallic blue tights
If anyone is wondering whether or not they should buy or wear a pair of metallic blue tights, they should stop and ask themselves one simple question: am I a superhero? If ‘no’, put them down and walk away. We know that superheroes are hot right now, but that doesn’t mean anyone should dress like one, even just from the waist down. This is a trendy fashion no-no!
#4 A woman’s fashion to avoid: Double denim: top and bottom
Everyone loves jeans. They’ve been around since the 1950s, they’re cheap, cool, and durable. And they’re made of denim. With that sort of background, it was only natural that people were going to start making and wearing denim jackets. But denim jackets are clearly a casual fashion item, and what does everyone wear on their bottom half on casual occasions? Why jeans, of course. So people started doubling their denim, and a trendy fashion trend was born. Well, in reality the trend was born when people started to argue that wearing all-denim was a good idea. Here is some news for those people: it’s not a good idea. It never, ever, looks good. Yes, this means that your denim jacket will probably never get worn, but that’s just too bad.

Are Crocs best just worn inside the home so you can hide them from people? Of course not! Crocs have gained a good reputation among consumers and are now perfectly acceptable to wear to the streets or any casual gathering. Crocs has also released some new styles that are a lot less boxy or wide as the original Beach model. These new styles are also beautiful and can be worn with different types of casual outfits.
But the be it the Beach or the new Suede Alice, Crocs have now become so popular that you won’t get any more uncomfortable stares from people for wearing a bold and candy colored footwear.
Where are the best places to wear the inexpensive and rubber clogs to? The best place to wear the shoes believe it or not is the work place. That is, if you don’t work in a highly corporate setting where you are required to wear suits and pumps. If you work in the hospital, the mall, a school, or in an office where casual footwear is acceptable then make Crocs your choice of “work shoes”. Crocs are extremely comfortable and should be a breeze to wear for 8 hours or more. Hospital workers and chefs have long discovered the benefits of wearing Crocs to work- the stress on their feet, angles, heels and legs are lessened and they find that they can stand and work for longer hours with roomy Crocs: Beach, Cayman, Endeavor and Professional. People who work in advertising agencies or design studios that are more lenient when it comes to dressing will benefit from the comfort of Crocs footwear. Somehow, it’s easier to let the creative juices flowing when you are totally comfortable with your outfit. Pre-school teachers will be comfortable wearing the Prima or the Alice to work because they can easily run after the kids and move around the classroom.
Another great place to wear the Crocs in is the beach or the pool. With vents where air and water can easily pass through, Crocs are the perfect footwear to wear when you go swimming. They are very easy to wear and take off so you can easily slip them off when you want to go for a dip in the pool or when you want to swim in the ocean. You can also wear them as soon as you get out of the water because they easily dry. Getting them wet also won’t result in any damage to the shoe. With the soles being slip-resistant, they are perfectly safe for kids to wear around the pool areas. You can also use them to go boating as they were really intended for this activity.
Another great place to wear your Crocs is in the great outdoors. Whether you are just working on a small patch of garden or taking a great adventure up the mountains, your Crocs will be the perfect shoes to wear. Crocs are comfortable and provide good traction. They are also water-resistant so you can wear them around the campsite or when you’re going for a hike around the streams and brooks.

Move over flip flops, sandals and sneakers, there’s a new kid on the block when it comes to beach footwear, and it seems set to remain a fixture in the world of casual fashion for the next several years…or at least until the next big thing comes along! Judging from the tremendous popularity of Beach Crocs however, that is not likely to happen any time soon.
The Beach Croc is actually the first model in a range of Crocs rubber shoes, which has been expanded to include models designed specifically for kids and other users.
While these other variations on the Crocs theme have been remarkably well received by the buying public, Beach Crocs undoubtedly remain the most popular model of all, with thousands of users across the globe.
One thing is for sure: no matter what model of Crocs you go for, you can be assured of the same quality, durability and comfort that has become synonymous with the Crocs name.
Beach Crocs owe these qualities to the patented Croslite™ PCCR material, which is possibly one of the most feet-friendly materials known to man. Croslite has the ability to mold to the contours of your feet–or virtually any type of feet for that matter–so that no matter what you use your Beach Crocs for, you can be assured of a superb feeling and snug fit that never pinches or constrains your feet in any way. This also allows Beach Crocs to be worn at a comfortably loose fit for maximum ease and comfort.
You might think that something that fits so loosely would fly of your foot at the slightest provocation. Beach Crocs however come with a useful heel strap to prevent this from happening. If you would rather be free from any form of restraint that the strap provides however, you can simply flip it forward out of the way so you have quick and easy access when you need to remove your shoe or put it back on!
Upon looking at your Beach Crocs, you will notice that there are a few holes along the front of the toe and a few more that have been cut onto the top of the shoe. This is one of the more brilliant things about the design of the Beach Crocs, and serves to keep your feet from sweating excessively. This also helps you avoid the problem of odors.
Speaking of odors, these are mostly caused by the presence of bacteria. In this regard, Beach Crocs are the best thing for your feet, owing to its anti-microbial interior.
It may surprise you to know that Beach Crocs were originally designed as boat shoes. This sea-going legacy is still apparent in today’s Beach Croc designs, all of which feature slip resistant and mark free soles, making them suited for any type of use or walking environment.
If you are not yet convinced of all the benefits that Beach Crocs can offer, that can only mean that you haven’t tried them yet! If that is indeed the case, you owe it to yourself to give them a try. Your feet will love you!
