The sheep used for sheepskins are old wool producing sheep who have made millions of yards of wool yarn and are close to dying anyways. I think it's better and less wasteful for an old sheep to be turned into something warm, wonderful and useful rather than having him or her thrown into a garbage dump and left to rot after they die. It's not like you will stop sheep from dying just by not buying boots or whatever, they aren't immortal and they don't live forever. And if you hear some story about it takes eight sheep to make uggs that's a lie. Sheep are large animals, especially wool producing sheep. So wear your uggs and don't worry. If you really want to help animals who are suffering and are abused, volunteer at your local animal shelter and help animals in real need. Don’t worry.
